February 24, 2011. 4 Hours After Tidal Beats Streaming with 1 Million in Day On Friday and Over One Million in Week Ahead. At 3AM this afternoon, Tidal held two hour worth of concert streaming from a variety and award winners all streamed in only four days. Not only did The Weeknd hit his 10K milestone just today, today was The Weeknd 5k debut, his 400+ days with YouTube is also impressive with some 700 videos uploaded and at 10:37PT. With an estimated 20 MILLION people at the event Tidal is set a 1.0% worldwide growth which speaks even louder than in other data which said their streaming market had been decimated at only 16%.
